Savannah @ Bukit Gambang Resort City

29th May 2014

New activity, exploring Savannah dgn tram. Barulah eye to eye with the wild hu hu...
Few memories @ Savana...
MAHAN w his Papa n brothers, inside tram, ready to explore Savannah @ BGRC
Saya terpegun dgn gambar ni...
betapa copy paste nya rupa Pa n Babang...

Double-gate entrance

The 'tourist guide' was a Filipino'... lion jadi layon hu hu...

Drpd entrance Safari, kena jalan kaki jauuuuuuuuh sgt utk sampai ke stesen tram Savannah. Nak smpi stesen tu, longgar tempurung lutut. Sekali fikir, taubat tak moh pi lagi. 2x fikir.. it's good. Kan berjalan kaki tu satu senaman yg bagus utk kesihatan... haish... kalau tanggal tempurung lutut, cane pulak?

Ada byk lagi animals tapi tak yah la tepek semua kat sini ya.. nanti sesapa nak pergi dah tak thrill hu hu...

Semua wild animals tu ditempatkan under open sky, cuma dipisahkan oleh gate je. Ya la.. dah namanya pun savannah. Kata tourist guide Filipino tu, gates tu semua ada aliran electric to prevent the animals from jumping out. N the day we explored Savannah tu rupanya gate di kwsn lion tu rosak... erk! Nasib baik kami semua selamat balik in one complete piece, hu hu...

Sorang keletihan angkut baby luar perut. Yg sorang lagi mengah angkut baby 8 mth plus dlm perut... me n my youngest sister...

We ride the last tram for Savannah at 6pm, so tram htr kami direct ke entrance Safari. Stroller MAHAN yg ditinggalkan di stesen tram Savannah rupanya dah mereka turunkan ke mari. Oh ya, kat sini ada services sewa stroller juga... kalau tak larat angkut kids, sewa je lah stroller tu...

Savannah ni msh baru. Wild animals pun tak byk. Ya lah... bkn murah nak beli seekor wild animal. Pun pemprosesan license mengambil masa. Tak pe... in few years time, I believe it will be a great Savannah.

**************************

A savanna, or savannah, is a grassland ecosystem characterized by the trees being sufficiently small or widely spaced so that the canopy does not close. The open canopy allows sufficient light to reach the ground to support an unbroken herbaceous layer consisting primarily of C4 grasses.[1] Some classification systems also recognize a grassland savanna from which trees are absent.[2] This article deals only with savanna under common definition of a grassy woodland with a significant woody plant component.

It is often believed that savannas feature widely spaced, scattered trees, however in many savanna communities tree densities are higher and trees are more regularly spaced than in forest communities. Savannas are also characterized by seasonal water availability, with the majority of rainfall being confined to one season of the year. Savannas can be associated with several types of biomes. Savannas are frequently seen as a transitional zone, occurring between forest and desert or prairie. Savannas cover 20% of the globe not including oceans. The largest amount of Savannah is in Africa.
