Superstitious or Tinnitus?

Masa sy study di MRSM dulu, tepat jam 12 mlm jika sy msh blm tidur telinga sy akan berdesing sgt kuat. Annoying! Dan saya tak akan boleh tidur sampai esok pagi. Sbb itu sy akan pastikan sy dah lena b4 detik 12 mlm. Balik prep je, sy dah bungkus diri dlm selimut. Ish, mcm cerita hantu. Tak... ia cerita benar saya.

Slps itu ia reda. Bila dh besar menjelang nak tua ni sy sll rasa telinga sy berdesing. Ting!...

Pernah ramai org lebih tua beritahu saya, "Kalau telinga berdesing tu, tandanya daun pokok usia kita di akhirat jatuh sehelai krn ditimpa oleh daun org lain (yg telah dipanggil pulang oleh Tuhannya). Tandanya umur kita berguguran jg menunggu giliran dipanggil. "

Saya taklah percaya sgt, tapi itulah yg akn terlintas di hati saat ia berlaku.

Ada lagi satu superstitious ttg hal telinga berdesing ni dan ia bergantung pd which ear side yg bunyi. Kalau kiri, maksudnya seseorg yg kita kenal sdg bercakap yg baik ttg kita. Kalau kanan, vice versa...

So, when it happens, cubalah sebut semua nama org yg kita kenal, and it will comes to a name yg bila disebut lalu desing tu hilang. Oh, si dialah rupanya yang talk good things atau sedang umpat kita ye? Erk!?

Dlm istilah perubatan, bunyi yg hanya kita seorg je dgr ni dipanggil TINNITUS.

These may include:

Acoustic neuroma. Anemia. Labyrinthitis. M�ni�re's disease. Otosclerosis. Thyroid disease

Hmm... now I know why my ear's alway ring since I was 17. Dia nak bagi tau saya,
"You have sinus,  anemia, and THYROID... good luck!"
